Two women villagers were buried alive in Thmei village, Sangkat Bey, Sihanoukville, on Friday morning during a land dispute involving a 52-hectare plot of land.

Villagers claim that they have lived on the disputed land since 1985, and the authority also recognized this fact. However, a representative of the alleged land owner claimed that payment has been distributed to some of the villagers, however, some are encroaching on the land. Land filling operation has been pursued since December 2006.

So Kim, one of the victims who was rescued on time by her neighbors, said in tears that this action is a blatant violation of human rights and an unjust act:

“They did not tell us anything. They started dumping dirt since 18 Dec, they filled in the sanitation ditches, they filled in water wells. When their dirt dumping operation reaches a house, they would first fill the land on half the property, then they would offer people 1 or 2 million riels ($250 to $500), they told them to either take the money, if not they will simply start clearing the entire property [anyway]. The villagers are poor, they have no choice but to take the money, collect their belongings, and try to find a place to rent, [the people who came to take over the land] they have guns all of them. When they reach my property, I told them: ‘Fill your side of the property, don’t touch my land’. They did not say anything, their chief ordered to have me buried alive, there were two of us standing on my property, their chief told them to bury me alive. Had they have a lot of dirt with them, they could have buried both of us and no one would know anything. It was our luck that they did not have enough dirt and when they dumped it on us, it only reached our waist. We were then able to yell and call for help, I had a mobile phone with me and called other villagers to come and rescue me.”

What people needs to understand is
we all must work and save up to buy
our own land, not grab it from the
rich. There is no free lunch
anywhere on this planet. Get it?

That is because I neither speak
English nor French, retard. And I
    told you many many times already;
what I speak are called Khmenglish
    and Khmench. Get it, Stupid?
That is we don't followed any of
    your stupid grammar rules, but
    our superior Khmer's rules.

Having said that, is there any
word too hard for you to
    understand, idiot?

where do the rich get their land from? Your sense of social justice is abhorrohent for someone who is a Kon Khmer, of the Buddha Religion.

You are like Aungkulimear in his darkess ways, but for you, no amount of compassion can save you. You are far gone now, only thing that can resembles you to another human being, or to another fellow Khmer, is the fact that you can still speak.

Your ability to speak, however, is starting to sound like gibbrish. Eventually, you'll go insanely mad because no one else can understand what you're saying.

That is the stupidiest question I
    ever heard of yet?

The riches got their land the same
ways as the riches in the US, AU,
UK, ..., France got theirs. So
    should everyone else on this
    planet. What is so unreasonable
    about that, huh?

it is not the same anywhere in the world. Cambodia's riches are made through various, and seeing how they treat others to secure those richess testifies to you which path they chose.

A creep of greed like you wouldn't understand such a question.

Yeah, but where it is written on
this planet that the riches has the
    responsibilities to help the poors.

I know this seem hash, but if you
really think about it, the riches
who ignored the poors will only
ignored their own wealth. In other
    words, their bussinesses will come
to a dead stop when no one can
afford to buy their products, of
    course except for exports, but
    domestic products such as
    bicycles, motorcycles, PC, ...,
or TV will not sell, and this will
hinder the economy and many rich
    merchants.

Thus, it is not generally true
that all riches want to supress
all poor people because it is
suicidal. Get it? But rich idiots
    are everywhere. Don't loose sleep
    over it.

maybe you didnt' get it. You don't know what is harsh or not. Where in the planet that the riches has the responsibility to help the poor? What a stupid question because I didn't tell that those people have a responsibility for anyone but themselves.

However, these people, choose to take things from others and shut others up when they demand back what is rightfully theres. Everywhere in this planet, it is the responsibility of the victims to fight and demand for their property rights from these people who make their riches the wrong way.

And like you said, their time will come, when people are fed up with them. hell is karma created on earth. So these rich people will see their hell soon. you that support these people, will have your share.

but you are right. there is no purpose speaking with people like you.

Come on, Mate, I don't support
idiots, rich or poor. I am just
    more optimistic about people in
general, rich or poor. What I am
saying is there are lot of people
who would want the poors to be
fit and have money to by their
    products; thus, they will fight
    for the poor. Get it?

All of your comments above don't really help anyone by bickering at each other. If you are truly Khmer and still have the heart for Khmer, definitely one can see these activities toward the poors and ordinary Khmers. These barbaric acts against a livlihood of a person is utmost sinister.

TO MY KNOWLEDGE, KHMER ROUGE ATROCITIES ENDED IN 1978. WHY ARE THE ELITE KHMER CONTINUE THESE ACT? AND MOST SEEM PROUD IN HIDEOUS CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY. Are we not any decency anymore for Khmer Society?

Why are we thriving on the BLOOD & SWEAT OF THE POORS & THE MAIMS?

Will those criminals be arrested for the crime?? I dare, they will not. The authority tries to facilitate them even tough they know that the act is a crime by thinking of their political affiliation with CPP. However, just look the case below. Can you compare the case and wht do you think about hun sen justice??

    Post10:47, stop dreaming. In the
real world, the rich own more then
the poor, period. There is no
    activities against the poor.

As for KR atrocity, we mourn
for a few innocent people who was
    victimed, but we celebrate the
justice that is well served to
    the millions of the backstabers
    SISOWATT Sarimatakis people. They
deserved every drop of abuse that
was rendered to them for their
    immoral crime.
