If all Khmer are concern and want it to materialize so that we can save our country's independence and support our Khmer krom brothers human rights, then we all must write letters to urge all of our politicians to seek reconciliation for this purpose.
Politicians are there to appeal us, so we must tell them what we want. Write letter to all the party who call themselves democrat and tell them to join forces, because this election is our only chance.
Else we will continue to see Khmer monks and journalist and Unionist kill every month. As well, we will see new settlers into our land everyday.
If politicians have no self interest, then they see our concern , and it will be their concern and they will find way to work together and bring democracy to Cambdodia.

Alright, if this is going to work there must be some elements of trust and faith between them. Otherwise, it is imposible. And to have trust an faith you must not concern too much on how one approachs a problem. I mean you must not insist on a certain path to get from point A to point B. Let whoever decide, so long they get to point B. I hope you know what I mean. If you can live with that, the next step is to decide who shoud be PM, Deputy PM, Minister of this and that, LOL. Amongst the 4, two are remarkable not worth to be united; Ranaridh and Thomico. Accordingly, I see the Royalist party to be a better choice than the SRP or NRP for Cambodia, but fat chance against the CPP.
Wherever and whenever there is a discord, or strife, in such Khmer community as a team, a group, a village, a Buddhist temple, or a political party, there will always be a call for UNITY or "Samakki" in Khmer. 2- For all the small parties to unite, they MUST DIG a 10km whole deep into the ground to BURY ALL THEIR EGO AND PERSONAL INTERESTS and concentrate on three things and three things only: (a) Cambodia, (b) Cambodia and (c) Cambodia, period. NO MORE AND NO LESS!!!
3- They must be prepared to make their ultimate sacrifice no matter what. After that, millions of Khmer people inside and outside Cambodia will join them without either hesitation or resewrvation.

Dear 4:40AM, Frankly speaking, I've been through all regimes which have ruled over Cambodia since our country gained full independence from France on November 9, 1953. Being well equipped with my extended knowledge of Cambodia's post-Angkorian history, I can say to you that Cambodia, in dire political turmoil, in war sometimes with Thailand and Vietnam altogether, or in dark period of deep division, miraculously emerged victorious. Was it because Cambodia was rich and wealthy? NO. Was it because Cambodia had modern weaponry at its disposal? NO. Was it because Cambodia had 2,500 NGOs? NO. Was it because Cambodia had from 40 to 50 political parties competing with each other and forgetting to compete with the CPP as we've seen since the UN-supervised general election in 1993? NO. IT'S BECAUSE OF THE GENETICALLY SPECIAL BLOOD WHICH RUNS IN YOUR VEINS AND IN MINE: THE BLOOD OF THE KHMER RACE OF THE KHMER BLOOD.
For BLDP, Funcinpec, SRP, HRP, KFP, NRP, KJFP or whateverP, or even the coalition of the whole lot, the best they can do is to parade to the outside world an illusory kind of democracy which unfortunately suits best to the CPP's strategy. Worse still, these parties give false hope to the overwhelming majority of Khmer people, the people like you and me who are really concerned about the destiny of our beloved country.
The CPP, under heavy influence from Hanoi, never wants a real democracy for Cambodia. It wants only a window-dressing kind of democracy. Why? Because real democracy is a cyanide pill for communism, period.
What should we do then? We should do the following:
1- Try hard to convince people not to waste time, money and resources by supporting any one of the parties mentioned above. Why? Because their leaders are all crook. They do politics simply for their own interests, not for Cambodia and Khmer people.
2- Keep a watchful eye for a true leader, a leader who has no fear, no greed, no ambition, no political party, no tendency for favouritism, nepotism, cronyism and the like, but somehow can lead us to victory over Hanoi and its valet, the CPP, in the form of PEOPLE'S POWER. That leader will come around one day in the near future and will deliver us from poverty, neglect, mistreatment, persecution, destitution, abuses and slavery.
I think I have explained myself enough for today, haven't I.
