He has answered all the difficult questions which were supposed to be answered by Hun Sen. But in reality, he is just a privated advisor of Hun Sen. In a civilised Nation, he cannot answer any question to the media. Each question, the Government must allow their appropriated Minister in Charge to answer and not a secretary of the Prime Minister. When Om Yin Tieng talks to either foreign diplomats or the press, he talks the way he's instructed by Hanoi to, not the way Hun Sen or other high-ranking CPP officials want him to talk. He doesn't give a damn about all statements or remarks made by either US Ambassador, Mr. Joseph A. Mussomeli, or UN Special Envoy to Cambodia for Human Rights, Mr. Yash Ghai. Why? Because Hanoi's interests on Cambodia far outweigh all public opinions or scrutiny.
The other two guys who copy Om Yin Tieng's style are Khieu Kanharith and Khieu Sopheak. But they are not Hanoi's agents like Om Yin Tieng. These three loudspeakers (Om Yin Tieng, Khieu Kanharith and Khieu Sopheak) will never be forgotten by Khmer people. They will be dealt with exactly the same way as the Khmer Rouge cadres were dealt with by Cambodia's eastern people when the KR regime was overwhelmingly defeated by Hanoi's regular army in late December 1978 and early January 1979.
