Cambodia’s press review [-The lighter side of the news from Cambodia]

By Kong Sothanarith
Excerpt from Cambodge Soir

  • The Kampuchea Thmei reported the story of “a man who came to seek sexual relationship at a prostitution parlor located at the Chong Thnal village, Kompong Cham province. He later found out that someone robbed $50 and 50,000 riels (~$12.50) from his wallet.” The newspaper also provided an explanation on the theft: “The police questioned three women at the parlor. One of the women confessed that she was hiding under the bed before the client and her colleague came into the room, she took the money out of the man’s wallet while the later was fully involved with his activity.”
  • A 3-star police general pointed his gun on the head a worker for Electricité du Cambodge when the power utility company cut off his electricity, the opposition Moneaksekar Khmer newspaper reported. “The electricity was cut off because the general did not pay his mounting bills,” the newspaper added.
  • Again involving the police: “a general will soon earn his fourth star for taking good care of Sok An’s fighting cocks,” Sralanh Khmer reported.

How many stars does the general get for sucking Sok An's cock? how many for Hun Sen's cock?

In the first story, how could a client have over $50 in his wallet when he goes to a brothel in the countryside? Maybe he did want a three-some, Cambodian style. Then, he should have been prepared to pay $62.50.

    youns (vietnamese) are the China's
ethnic people, so youns culture and
their old characteristic letters are the
    same as those of Chinese

No wonder that the tradition of this Chinese
ethnic people(youns called by Chinese and by
    Asians) is that :
    - vietnamese men in any country, most
of them are thieves or robbers
    - and vietnamese women in any country,
    most of them are prostitutes
