To be soldier is a nobler profession than to make the prostitution!
I don't see any problem with this. In the old days, many girls married as young as 14 anyway.
ReplyDeleteOh really? So it is the local that create the demand? There is more prostitution during UNTAC than any other period in the history of Cambodia and what happens right now is the legacy of UNTAC!
ReplyDeleteSince Cambodia is war torn country and such a dirt poor country and the life expectancy is about 50 years old and people live on less than a dollar a day! So is it a surprise to see Cambodian people willing to sell their body just to put food on the table? This is what can happen when Cambodian people choose to be part of the globalization and Cambodian people have become a victim all over again!
The reporters can only report what they can see but what about those issues that they can't see? This is just another sound bite new reporter!
If you don’t know clear, please don’t talk. Who you think you are that judge others. Please look at your own country. Reporters or journalists came to Cambodia for a few days and they thought that they know everything about Cambodia and show to world that Cambodia full of sex crimes, violence, diseases, drug……………… Ah ah child prostitution, underage sex, BTW those girls are illegal Vietnamese.

If you want to help, please take your own money and share to the poor, and will not be social problem anymore. They are human; they also want to live, to eat, and to dress well.
