Cambodian President Hun Sen has built a house for Thaksin Shinawatra to stay in his country whenever he wants to, Gen Chavalit Yongchaiyudh said on his return from Cambodia on Wednesday.
Gen Chavalit left on Wednesday morning for a visit to Cambodia at the invitation of Hun Sen.
The former prime minister, now a member of the Puea Thai Party, said he met Hun Sen and the Cambodian leader expressed deep sympathy for Thaksin.
The Cambodian leader said Thaksin was not given justice and had nowhere to go despite the fact that he had done a lot for the country, Gen Chavalit said.
Gen Chavalit was full of praise for Hun Sen. He said Hun Sen had built a beautiful house to receive Thaksin who was welcomed at any time.

In the future I'm sure HUN SEN can build a good home for Khmer politician too. Poor Ranariddh doesn't have the same treatment as Thaksin. I guess HUN SEN really pity this guy.
ReplyDeleteAnd the award for best human rights activist goes to Hun Sen for building a house for a person in need. While many homeless khmer people are left stranded by the flood, building a house for a rich ousted thai prime minister comes first. Thank you Mr. Hun Sen for getting your priority straight. We should all learn from you. Helping the rich is far more important. Bravo!

ReplyDeleteIt has been about 18 years after peace Accords to wait ,and gradually more evictions taken place. In Sangkum reast Niyum, 10 years after independence declared,cambodia became well advanced in agrculture as well as light industries.
I can't believe real blood but having either viet or siem as friends but khmers get kicked out.

ah kwack offers a fugitive, former Thai PM. a place to stay in Cambodia. So, Thacksin can regroup and attack Thailand from Cambodia. Although ah kwack contradicted his statement earlier that no one can use Cambodia as a base to conduct their "Terrorist Activities." if ah kwack can pull it off, vea will be remembered...in Khmer history!~
