Hun Xen offered a moral lesson to his kin and he urged them to be more involved with the Cambodian people.
“If I were to quit power, my dear children, nephews and nieces could become attack targets,” Hun Xen claimed in front of the TVK camera during a family reunion at the Phnom Penh Intercontinental Hotel on Monday 28 December.
Hun Xen publicly suggested to his kin, and his nephews in particular, to engage themselves in humanitarian works for the Cambodian people in order to gain their confidence. He proclaimed that he was against the culture of impunity in the cases where members of his family were to act against the law (sic!).
Hun Xen indicated that he was inspired by the bloody backlash against high-ranking officials and powerful VIPs by the Khmer Rouge following the fall of the Khmer Republic regime in 1975. Following the fall of General Lon Nol, members of his family were spared for their good deeds toward the people.

When the man have something good to say or if he does something good, praise him, and not try to find fault. That's is how human psychology work. It call positive re-enforcement. Khmer seem to never learn how to use positive re-enforcement, only fighting and negative enforcement, which create bad environment and never produce good positive result.

it just goes to show people in society aren't thinking like brainstorming. they seem to think one-way only and thus failed to see that there are many many other ways to do the same thing out there, you know. that's my point. so, for a change, please learn to think by brainstorming for ways, ok, many ways, not only one-way, you know! that's all!
ReplyDeleteanyway, don't forget that nowadays (it is true) children and people learn from their peers, their schools, etc, not just from their parents, you know! so, if the child is a bad child, don't come blaming the parents as they are too busy at work and has nothing to do with the child's bad behavior, really, well, unless you are in cambodia, maybe that's different, i don't know! that's why, only evidence is used in the court of law, because when you use the old cambodian system, which is kind of outdated anyway, you never have fair rule or judgment, that's all! it's all in the pschology of the people, really! don't look any further than that, really. well, that said, not all khmer ways are bad, however, this one must go!
During the Pol Pot hechmen did in the killing fields we can pardon some of them because it was the first time for their dump stupid idiology, otherwise Pol Pot protected Khmer Land from Youn annexion.

Khmer gov't needs to learn to adapt with the Australian way of life by creating a welfare system to help the poor and creating jobs for people so that they can help paying tax to rebuild its nation and country. If Aust, Singa, ZN, and other countries can do it, so can we!. K. gov't needs to know this, No one in the world loves your own people than you do. If you don't care for them, others will take your people off you and use them instead. Remember this, the more people we have the better and it can be successful if we have an appropriate laws putting in place. At the moment, there are only 14 millions in our country compared to others they have billions yet they are able to run their countries very well, so why can't we?. All gov't need to know this, we only live once as well do the right thing for the righteous will live forever and the wicked will be terminated, by this I mean, we must be focus on putting new infrastructures such roads, schools, Universities, Hospitals, shopping centre and more for the long term benefit of its people and gov't.
