Khmer Krom asylum seekers deported from Thailand in December await news about their bid for Cambodian citizenship at a one-room rental home in Meanchey district on Wednesday. The group of 22, who are being supported by local NGOs until their paperwork is processed, say they fled government persecution in their native south Vietnam. all we're seeing here is some people try hard to ruin cambodia's reputation with the world by this or that! these people if we know who they are are not doing anything to help cambodia, instead they try hard to make cambodia look bad in the eye of the world. i say enough already! don't be stupid like the KR regime or stupid and crazy like the childish siem gov't! of course, those of us who can think for ourselves and see cambodia with our own eyes, etc., naturally don't buy into it. yes, seeing is believing, really; that is so true. we all must be pratical and pragmatic, never buy or believe the word of mouth i.e. rumours, etc... remember in college, professors taught us all to observe, to participate or conduct a field research, etc, etc... be analytical, be critical, think logically for ourselves, etc, etc... well, now is the time and place to put that into practice when dealing with cambodia. when in cambodia or anything to do with cambodia, don't buy into rumours, period! it is unwised, really!
