Chumteav Phou Chhoeun, the wife of Tep Ngon, the no. 1 CP Senate vice-president, died in an auto accident along National Road No. 2, in Trapaing Ang village, Krao commune, Don Keo city, Takeo province. The tragic accident took place on 13 February 2010 at 3:15PM. Korb Sokhon, the provincial traffic police officer, indicated that Chumteav Phou Chhoeun was 63-year-old, she is a native of Pram Bey Mum village, Pram Bey Mum commune, Traing district, Takeo province. She died after she was sent to the Takeo support hospital. The accident took place when the chumteav’s ’93 Land Cruiser which was heading south to Phnom Penh hit a motorcycle and then overturned 5 times along the national road. The chumteav was thrown out of her car and lost conscience. Because of her severe injuries, the chumteav died at the Takeo province hospital. The car driver and another passenger only received light injuries, but the motorcycle broke his right foot into 3 pieces.

Some people are just ignorant, No RESPECT... either tho this happen a couple years back. Its still sad till this day. She was a wonderful women who i know personally. Im from the States, and i visited her 3 times in my life, she took care of me like i was one of her own. You idiots think what you want to think, but i know for a fact that she and her husband dont have anything to do with the corruption thats going on today.....
