remember nowadays in cambodia, the reigning monarch is ceremonial only, not absolute anymore like during the dark ages or stone ages, you know. so, there is a constitution law that all khmer citizens must abide by. so, don't be angry at the monarch for respecting the law. the prime minister is the one that has the executive power to change the country. that said, of course, every appointed official is obligated to lead and help better cambodia, however, even all of them have to know their respective rights and their job as spelled out in the national constitution, which is the highest law of the nation, really! all countries of the world have constitution, you have to understand that, ok!

I think Sacrava is very smart and intelligent.

My opinion toward king Sihamoni is that if he wants to be respect and worship he should stop breathing and sit on the top of the flagpole (preah ang dang tong) in front of the palace next to the river. You know where it is. It is a sacred pole where the people believing in superstistion pray to it each day.
Another perfect place for him is in Vat Phnom temple, he can be one among those statues as well.

As a king (not involve with politics) he has to go out to comfort and share the suffering with victims and the hungers. He has to play a role of welfare worker or red cross agency. If he cannot or not allow to do that he has to stop breathing and become one of the statues as I mentioned above.

If I were you Sihamoni, I have to do defenitely like that. Don't waste your position and your life, it's really regretful and useless.

i know, the king can use his influential position to help the cambodia. of course, it doesn't necessarily involved politics as the law prohibits that, however, i'm sure you and i can see that there are a lot of good, productive things the monarch can do to help make a real difference in cambodia, like red cross, modernizing the economy, the country, the educating the public, giving suggestion for reforms, etc, etc... i mean there are tons of good causes like charity works, etc, that the beloved monarch can do to help out, really! it would be naived to say that there is none out there for monarch to participate to him, etc... again, politics isn't everything, you know!

I have two comments to make regarding Sacrava.
First of all, I agree with 8:22 am that Sacrava
not using his intelligence to serve the benefit
for Khmer society but instead use it to serve madness.
Or unless his purpose is to break Khmer apart I don't
see any benefit of his work here. Personaly, I think
KI should ban his posting here.

Secondly, to a sertain extend I do agree with
6:00am that the king is a constitutioal monarch
and he has a very limited role to play. One thing is
certain is that does not want anyone to be more popular
than him especialy the king. 12:05 am also brought up
an important point regarding what the king can do
to help to eleviate suffering among ordinary Khmer citizens such as charity work. However, Hun Sen as power
hungry as he is, intrust the work of Red Cross to his
powdered face wife. In addition, state televisions
are too busy broadcasting Hun Sen building school
or inaugurating buildings or temples and powdered
face Bunrany handing out rations to the poors
    and the destitudes.

With these in mind, to bring blame on the king for not
doing anything or for simply being useless is
like beating a dead horse. Even with a slight
use of intelligence, anyone can see that it is senseless,
childish and naive if not counter productive.
