It has been turned into a bad joke when nonstop waves of demonstration of low ranking civil servants are demanding for a raise of their bonuses so that they can live a decent life, but quite to the contrary, the government instead decided to hand out bonuses only to a handful of high-ranking army and police officers.
Based on a sub-decree promoted by Keat Chhon, the minister of Finance, and approved by Hun Xen on 15 March 2010, bonuses will be doled out to army and police officers ranking between levels no. 1 and 50 only, the bonus amount is 50% [of their salary(?)].
Under this unfair distribution of social rewards, MP Yim Sovann, the SRP spokesman, declared that the government should think about soldiers and police officers stationed all along the country who have to face severe living and health conditions. Due to their low salaries, these lower-ranking soldiers and police officers could not send their children to school.
Currently, the salary for regular civil servants amounts to more than 100,000 riels (about $30). However, for those who hold the position of department chief and up, their salaries start at 1 million riels ($250), they also receive additional gasoline and telephone stipends.

Under Communist People Party ( CPP ) Hun Sen's regime don't care about Cambodia future. He and his gangs collected millions of dollars from International Aide and used for his weapon to oppress his own peoples more than 25 years. If someone in his family get kill he would find the murder, but for Chea Vichea, Touch Srey Nich's mom, Piseth Pelika and other victims the government don't even find one murder. What kind of government is this? Remember HUN SEN is a former Khmer Rouge and never change his mentality. I hope the peoples of Cambodian will change the leadership for the next election.

Perfect Mr. Keat Chhun and Hun Sen. The high ranking military are very poor. They don't have enought money to pay for gasoline for their luxury cars, johny walker, henesie, wisky, mistress, aircon, casino..... you are really the heros of cambodia. I truely applaud you guys. With this increasing of bonus your military will be more professional and brave to kill civilian who oppose you. Well done Mr. Hun. You are the realy koun khmer...hahaha......

It is Khmer culture that they don't to analyze thing in deep. They are fast to believe, especially in cheat convincing. They don't take into consideration what is true and what is cheated. Such Vietnam said they came to rescue Cambodian from genocide, they believe!. Hun Sen said he rescued cambodian from khmer rough, they believe. They don't border to consider whether Vietnam wants to own Cambodia, and they don't want to border Hun Sen is a former Khmer Rough who kill their parents and siblings.
ReplyDeleteNow that Hun Sen give them little income that cannot afford to pay for food, shelter, clothes, school fee for their children, good drinking water, they don't border to demand for their rights. They don't border that Hun Sen give them little wage, in order for him to easily and tightly put them in his hand so he can kill them any time. They begging for survive like Hun Sen keep begging international community to donate him for wealthy but they don't try look for food and Hun Sen doesn't use his wealth to develop his own country.
Khmer depend on fate and God to rescue them from poverty but they don't want to make small business to get income. They keep begging Hun Sen for survive. They don't look for system to help them but look for Hun Sen. While they (CPP) were poor they hate the rich and ran to the jungle to fight against the government but when they are rich they shot, drive over, grab land of the poor. These are the culture of Cambodian.
Cambodian has no sense about politic. They hate and afraid they got killed if they involve politic. They don't know the politician like Hun Sen who kill them. They afraid of dieing but they wait to be killed.

Hun Sen's brother in law was killed because of his family feud.
