those of us who lived through the KR era can understand why khmer reacted so angried like this; it is a light sentence of one of the killers! people lost their loved ones, not to mention my country was destroyed because of the KR policy, etc... please bring all the world's psychiatrists and psychologists to cambodia; we can use their expertise and help, etc...

during the KR, there were good KR and bad KR people, not all KR are evil and cruel or brutal. well, some were as evidenced by loss of lives, destruction of cambodia, etc... so, i think the court of law should find all the bad KR and bring them all to court for justice and healing to khmer people and cambodia.

communism is bad for cambodia. it only brings suffering and hardship to khmer people. so stop embracing communism again; instead embrace freedom and capitalism, ok! it makes your life better in cambodia this way. communism make people poor, the country poor, etc... capitalism make the country wealthy, people rich, life happy and prosperous, etc... just look around the world for this evidence! wake up, cambodia!

This is not justice at all, in fact it is a joke of a slap in the face for Cambodian people. Before the case, people started to live peacefully, getting their life back on track but now, they are very angry to know that a devil will one day walk free. The anger and pain built up more than before and will take much longer for us to overcome again.

If this is a deterrance to future mass muderers it fails miserably.

The UN has brought dog and pony show to Cambodia because they think that we are pathetic and dumb people.

All the monies from abroad went down the toilet and Khmer are left holding the bag of indignation, anger, sorrow, and hopelessness.

We may have to give ourselves justice somehow someway without outsiders showing us their perverse notion of justice.

When too many people are murdered it is not a crime it is collateral damage and thus it become just a statistic.

That's how the world including the UN sees justice!

Have anyone ever wonder why there are such groups called Al-Quaida, Al-Shabab, Hamas, Hezbullah seeking their own justice through the barrel of AK-47?

Adolf Hitler killed many more Jews than KR did Cambodians; did the Jews look to the UN for justice?
Look at the nation of Israel today, more advanced then Cambodia and the Palestinian. And Israel is only 60 some years young. You know what? it maybe there is a God that cares about the welfare of Israel to advance them to be the head of nations.
