The talks between commander of Army Region 2 Lt Gen Thawatchai Samutsakorn and commander of Cambodia's Army Region 4 Lt Gen Chea Mon had ended with both Thailand and Cambodia agree on ceasefire.
Army spokesman Col Sansern Kaewkamnerd said on Saturday afternoon that the two commanders also agreed that both sides must not deploy more troops in the border area and that commanders on Thai and Cambodian troops must oversee their soldiers to prevent future clash.
Surin provincial governor Serm Chainarong said the commander of Army Region 2 had ordered a reopening of Chong Jom border checkpoint, which had been closed since Friday.
Somchai Chuapetsophon, an inspector for Zone 13 of the Ministry of Public Health, said that altogether 14 soldiers and 3 civilians were injured in the border fighting on Friday and this morning.
One soldier was killed and four others wounded in the border gun-battle this morning.

Like any Khmer believe what Thai agree. Thai words, even signing agreement still meaning less because EVERY time, Thai agree to something, right after they agreed, and signed, turn around, do opposite. Heck, they do not even respect International Court of Justice and the United Nation!

ReplyDeleteThis war is caused by Yellow shirt and Abhisit. Abhisit was installed by Yellow shirt. 2 Yellow shirts are in Cambodian Jail. Abhisit will do everything including war to obey Yellow shirt. Khmers overseas strongly condemn Abhisit administration and Yellow shirt.
We are sorry if our brothers and sisters in Sisaket and along the border were affected by this war of aggression committed by Yellow shirt and Abhisit team.
We ask all of our brothers nd sisters in Sisaket, Buriram, Surin and other place in Thailand to stand up to demend for immediat stop the dirty war and ask for compensation from Thai authority.

I do hope Thailand will revence very soon, this time the air forces will be participate, we will how is the causality will be on Cambodian side. The Khmer Katosha from Russia must be hidding. Anyway the Thai air force has a lot old bomb for disposing.
ReplyDeleteThai allowed B52 to fly from OTAPOA military airport to drop BOM in Cambodia in 1970. This time will be different. If Thai air force decides to drop BOM, Thai will bear influx damage on its own act.

The next shooting erupt I would suggest Cambodia push deeper into Thailand if possible.
I'm not supports ah Kwack regimes to fight with Siamese most of the people that live with the border is Khmer ancestored why we've to kills each others for. I thinks those Khmer Surin they don't wanted to fights with Khmer either. We supposed to helps them to fight the real Siamese to get our lost land back from the enemies asshole not to fights Khmer and Khmer like this.

I am living in USA. But my mind has been with Cambodian troops at the frontline. I salute them including PM HUN SEN to defend our homeland against Siem invasion.. I am not CPP. I have no party. I am Khmer. I comdenm you by taking side with ennemy,Siem. You talk for Siem. You are Siem for sure.
Khmers around the world must be united in one force and one voice to support our troops at the frontline against Abhisit and Yellow shirts.

Sometimes the Communist uses that casualties and heavy wounded or disarray for their war propoganda. as we all know very well, when the war breaks out both side always get heavy casualties.
