On 20 September 2011, the Phnom Penh city hall sent a letter to Sia Phirum, the director of Housing Rights Task Force, to inform him that the city will not allow a public celebration of the International Housing Rights Day in front Wat Botum Pagoda. With the large amount of land disputes, forced evictions and land-grabbing in place currently, the city is not taking a chance to see a riot exploding in the middle of Phnom Penh. This is what happens when an autocratic regime has to protect itself from a flood of angry population:

Oh, Cambodia!!! the Kingdom of Wonder, now its slogan does not supprise at all; it reflexs everything of killing,kicking ,slashing and burning..to where they wanted...down to the ground zero.
