2-golden star general arrested for drug trafficking

At 11:30AM on 31 October 2011, cops of the anti-drug trafficking department of the ministry of Interior raided a major drug trafficking center located in O’Deum area in Dangkao district. Four suspects were arrested, one of them is a Thai citizen.

Two of the suspects were identified as: (1) Lay Virak, the former deputy governor of Phnom Penh and former advisor to the ministry of Defense, and (2) Khuon Sarun. The raid yielded 1 kg of drug and two AK-47 rifles. At 1PM, the operation has not ened yet.

    corruption is almost like a tradition or culture for some people! they think money grows on trees or something! it's good cambodia have anti-corrpution law! i don't care who you are, someone will have to do time and do the dirty job of the good of the country! stand firm and be logical and tough in your demand and mean what you say and say what you mean, period! no ifs or buts or maybe about it, ok!

    i the rule of law which cambodia should foster from now on, nobody is allowed to be above the law, meaning everyone must play by the rule, period! othewise, loopholes create problems, and not fair for those who play by the rule! cambodia cannot afford another chaos. we had too many chaos in the past decades already, no more is allowed or tolerated, ok!
