Sariputra's Humility

Good people do not babble on about their desires.
Whether touched by happiness or by sorrow...

Sariputra had always been enthusiastic in Dharma propagation and he was never fussy about personal comforts.

Once, the Buddha and His disciples returned to the monastery after they had been out giving teachings. However,a group of six corrupt monks arrived at the Jetavana before the others and occupied the best seats and beds, and even Sariputra's room.

Sariputra's later returned and saw his room being occupied by others. He had no choice but to spend the night meditating under a tree.

When the Buddha realized what had happened the next morning, He called the monks together and said, "Bhikkhus! You should respect the elders of the Dharma, then you will be praised by others in this life and be born in the upper realms in future lives. Bhikkhus! You should respect, serve and make offerings to the elders. Therefore, the elders deserve priority regarding seats and beds, as well as food and drinks." On hearing this, Sariputra was appreciative of the Buddha understanding.

"Good people do not babble on about
    their desires.Whether touched by
    happiness or by sorrow..."

2,500 years have been over, now the
    world have been changed.
    During Buddha time,people or monks
lacked of respect the elders too,
but they listened to the Buddha.

The Buddha teaching was/is fabulous, but people can't follow
the path because they are greedy
    money and power.

How about Tep Vong, and Nuon Ngeth
two high sects in Cambodia,do they
    follow path of Buddha?
They are fake monks or fake believers, they are using Buddha
doctrine or yellow clothes to cover
    their evil manners.

Would bloggers respect Tep Vong and
    Nuon Ngeth?
Maybe some said yes,but maybe many of them said NO.

Can people get babbling on their
    desires or touching by happiness
    or sorrow?
The Buddha had got rid of,but I can
not get rid of these two words:
    happy or sorrow.
Sometimes I get happy and the other
time I get sorrow. That's my life.

There is no one on earth follow Buddha (Gautama) not even His own people (Indian and Nepali people).

Look at this painting. They are Indians not Khmers not other nationalities but Indians). Buddha's own people (Indians) do not properly even follow Him, why does anyone expect the foreigners such as Khmers to do so?

This Buddha (Gautama) is just like so many Buddhas before Him, who were sent from heaven to teach people to practice "Dharma" how to END the sufferings (No rebirth) just like Buddha(s) already reached. When all of souls and humans become Buddhas, then GOD will create us a new pure beautiful Universe.

It is going to take billion years and billion life times for the souls to keep incarnating for countless times to reach Buddha's stage. ( I write this last paragraph according to Buddha's biography through PBS).
