8:56PM spot on! what's all this drama? it's only some commentator's opinion right? i think what these multi posters (there may be only half a dozen of them polpotists) FEAR most is that the new opposition alliance starts to change policy and agree with Dr Lao on the border demarcation issue. What will happen then? will these bloggers start to call Rainsy traitor as they've done with Lao Mong Hay? in fact i sense that Rainsy might just cut a deal with Hun Sen and eschew all campaigning based on race, immigration or border-encroachment issues in the forthcoming elections, in exchange for a return plane ticket back to Phnom Penh. My speculation only.
ReplyDelete12:14 PM. Your specualtion may be right. But as a spectator also, Sam Rainsy has been labelled as a traitor many time by the CPP and Hun Sen.
ReplyDeleteEven after the 1997 grenade attack orcestrated by Hun Sen to assinate Sam Rainsy, Hun Sen brainwashed the country to believe Sam Rainsy faked his own assassination.
Hun Sen will do anything at all cost to keep Sam Rainsy in prison and to have him killed.
Why is Hun Sen so scared of Sam Rainsy that he had to kill so many Khmer to stay in power? Why do the Vietnamese kept supporting Hun Sen, and why do the Khmer people continue to believe Hun Sen when Hun Sen claims Cambodia is now 30% bigger then the Sihanouk Regime after coneding more land to the Vietnamese in the 2012 Land treaties without approval from the oppositions and NGOs?
