A high-ranking official from the Norodom Ranariddh party (NRP) claimed that NRP as well as Prince Ranariddh plan to propose an amendment to the Constitution to set the term limit for the prime minister position. Ok Socheat, Prince Ranariddh’s advisor, told Kampuchea Thmei newspaper over the phone on Monday that Cambodia should make an amendment to the Constitution to set term limit for the prime minister. He said that the prime minister position in Cambodia should be limited to 2 terms, with each term lasting 5 years. The NRP proposal received the support from the Sam Rainsy Party. Eng Chhay Eang, SRP MP from Battambang, said that he believes this amendment will bring progress to the society and will serve the interest of democracy, he said that this proposal is a very good idea.

I tell you what: we'll considered
it if you can get the UK to do it
    first. How's that sounds, fair?

Did prince Ranarridh talk about this isue when he was in power? Never, Never. Now when is not in power then he realises that it is important for Cambodian society. It is the wrong time to appeal like this because no one will listen to him any more. Will prince think that package vote be amended also? This is a strategy to attract public attention only while no ones cares any more about the prince. At this time, the prince should maintain his thinking about the public and political stability rather than destabilise the society otherwise more prison term will be added.

Dear All, let us think of our common goal together what do we want our country to be able to archieve,
    -Longterm peace
    -Longterm harmony
    -Public security for all
    -Good education for all
    -Good healthcare for all.
    -Good transportation
-Beautifull cities and towns across our Nation.
    -No poverty and no starvation.
Therefore, we must set up a system which everyone is fair and free to express their expression. We have to renounce corruption as the most demons of our Nation.
Two year terms for Prime Minister is really fair and justify. After these two years, this former PM must retire for good. Areak Prey
