On 02 September, several dozens of Vietnamese celebrated the Viet National Day, the 64th anniversary of the Vietnamese war victory over France. The celebration was held at the Cambodia-Vietnamese friendship monument located in front of Wat Botum Pagoda, Phnom Penh city. Viet embassy officials in Cambodia and about 100 Viets came to place a flower wreath at the friendship monument to commemorate the Viet war victory over France in 1945. A Viet embassy official who refused to provide his name said that the Viet National Day is celebrated every 02 September in various countries in the world where large number of Vietnamese are living. Man Chhoeun, the CPP deputy governor of the city of Phnom Penh, said that the Viet National Day celebration on Cambodian soil was held with proper authorization –sic!–. Man Chhoeun said that this celebration will not affect the Cambodian society and population at all –sic!–

Did ye know after in two weeks they reached Phnom Pehn, they happily stayed there, and patiently waited untill all the KR were gone to da Siem's border? It took more 5 or 7 months to reach Pursat Province.
Hun Sen did this because Youn government have protecting his power, without Youn's Hun will be gone for long time.

ReplyDeleteI think that Hun Sen will becom a Chay Chhethat II in 20 years. Why ? because drunk power without thinking the Khmer futures. What Youn do for Cambodia right now is the same method like Chay Chhetha method. But the problem of Khmers is "drink power" forget for all. If Mr Pen Sovann, he drink power by Viet Hun Sen has no chance to get this post. But Mr. Pen Sovann know exactly what you wanted from Khmers.

After ten years (1979-89)polisicakally dekhmerizating, da Viet is still successfully installed da insane dog, Hun Sen, and psychologically or mentally convinced people of Khmer that without da Viet's liberation, we Khmer would inevitably be killed by the KR. How long did it take da Viet to invade or ye might proudly said, liberate us? According to da Siem folks, it quickly took only two weeks.

Youn government came to Cambodia 1978-1979, I was there and most of them came and still lots of stuff from our country.

Viets DID NOT save our asses. "Liberating" Cambodia was simply an age old PRETEXT to invade and afterward occupy Cambodia. The Viets are opportunist and they are smart when it comes to it. They will advise and work all levels and all sectors of Cambodian politics & economics to get things more favorable for them.
