More encroaching border post by Vietnam in Kampong Cham?

Construction on Vietnam-Cambodia border landmark begins

11/18/2009
VOV News (Hanoi)

Vietnam’s southern province of Binh Phuoc and Cambodia’s province Kampong Cham held a groundbreaking ceremony on November 18 to build landmark No 78 on the Vietnam-Camboida border.

Addressing the groundbreaking ceremony, leaders of both provinces affirmed that the construction of the first landmark on the borderline of the two provinces will help complete the demarcation and landmark planting between the two provinces.

They added that it will also contribute to meeting people’s aspirations in building a peaceful, soliarity, sustainable and long-term border between Vietnam and Cambodia.

The landmark is expected to be completed within 60 days.

Pol Pot was an epitome of patriotism with his true dedication and commitment in killing the Vietnamese people, also called “Yuons,” for the betterment of Cambodia, yet he became a true hero among his colleagues for the massive slaughter of Yuons during his reign era. However, he never regretted the fact that he slaughtered the Vietnamese people; also, at the time, we thought that was the right thing he could do for his nation.

We admire our late leader Pol Pot and our collegues for being patriotic for our homeland. When come to patriotism, our late leader Pol Pot was such a dedicated patriotic leader than Hun Sen and his followers, who are robbing our motherland’s natural resources to please Yuon. One thing we can honestly and truly say about the Vietnamese is that if we were given another opportunity, Yuons will not be settled on Cambodia soil. That said, the Vietnamese will eliminated the element of threat--Hun Sen and his top followers, that is--when they become dispensable.

The cycle will never stop. The viet are not wise enought to see that.
