Opposition leader Sam Rainsy whose parliamentary immunity was removed yesterday by Cambodia's rubber-stamp National Assembly, is today in Brussels attending a human rights meeting at the European Parliament.

Don't talk about the Kmere Krom because every body know that French decided to give it to Vietnam. Right or wrong that what was happened. ReplyDeleteRainsy's father, Sam Sary, was a traitor. When threatened to be arrested and taken to court in 1959 for the country's highest crime of treason, Sam Sary fled to South Vietnam to join Son Ngoc Thanh, the former Cambodia's prime minister in the 2nd World War era. Son Ngoc Thanh was a die-hard republican who hated King Norodom Sihanouk more than any Khmer compatriots. Sam Sary was then King Norodom Sihanouk's right hand, especially in the years of fighting the French for independence. In other words, Sam Sary was the friend of the worst enemy of Son Ngoc Thanh, King Norodom Sihanouk. Therefore, in running from the tiger, Sam Sary fell into the fatal jaws of the crocodile Son Ngoc Thanh.
Having said all the above, I simply want you, folks, to think about the naked truth whereby Sam Rainsy has been endeavouring to enter Cambodia's political sphere to simply gain power one day and get rid of all King Norodom Sihanouk's families the next.
SRP has been a one man political partyy and will remain so for as long as Sam Rainsy lives. The SRP political platform is firmly based on the so-called ''100 measures''. Nonetheless, that founding document is only a jar of honey which is intended to simply lure the politically short-sighted and young people who have very little knowledge and concern of what has happenned in our country in the past.
CPP is not the best party for Cambodia and it will never be simply for its political entanglement with our arch-enemy Vietnam. Unfortunately, we don't have any other parties which are ready to make their ultimate sacrifice for the sake of our country. To victoriously oppose the CPP and Hun Sen, you need a leader who puts his/her family, personal reward and life far behind Cambodia's national interest with no reservation whatsoever. Have you found one yet? Personally, I don't think you have.

RFA asked Xam RainXy a simple question that "Will he come back to Cambodia to face the Court if Parliament lift his immunity?". He didn't answer the question but at the same he tried to say something which irrelevant to the question, aim to cover up his coward act. What is a funny politician?
ReplyDeleteSince he pulled off the six poles near Vietnam's border, he always says all along that he doesn't afraid at all if the government sues him, but right now, he can't even step his foot in Cambodia.
As I am often said that Xam RainXy is brave only in front of microphone but in real life, he likes a rat runs around asking other people to help him whenever his political stunt get backfire.
Xam RainXy should go to Thailand and asks his ally (Abhisit and PAD) for helping him.

This is a slap in the face to all kHMER PEOPLE, while Vietname sit and laugh that Khmer punish Khmer. What Sam Rainsy did is helping his own people and to protect his country. By striping immunity to Sam Rainsy, it is a clear evidense that HUN SEN and his CPP are WORKING FOR VIETNAM, not Cambodia by punish his own people. If he does for Cambodia, he and CPP should join Sam Rainsy to protect our land, and help our people.

Khmer like you and other cpp members that are DETERIORATING Kmer civil society....!There are always younger generation that are educated and more competent to run Cambodia.....you must be blind for not seeing one....! There are bad leaders around the World that are fighting to preserve their mother land, but hun sen is keeping giving Khmer land to Viet. Cong. Can hun sen do exactly what Sam Rainsy did? of course not...., he would be headed by Viet Cong by now. Looking at Khmer Krom, do you have sense as to what Viet. Cong has been treating them?
