Hun Sen to visit Ta MuenMoan Thom temple

8/02/2010
Bangkok Post

Soldiers accompanying Cambodia's Prime Minister Hun Sen must not be armed when he visits Ta Muen Thom temple, in Surin province near the Cambodian border, on Monday, Deputy Prime Minister Suthep Thaugsuban said.

Thai authorities would be there to welcome him because it is Thai territory, he said. The area is under the supervision of the 2nd Army commander.

Mr Suthep called on those planning to rally in opposition to Hun Sen's visit not to enter the temple grounds because it could create difficulties for Thai authorities.

He also said there is no need to reinforce Thai troops along the Thai-Cambodia border at the moment.

  7. Suthep just a junior kid starting to speak like Abhisit who is still a kid. Siam just pretends not to accept the reality of the history. Maybe Suthep's parent never told him about his root of blood. I am really got tempered once I read/heard such wording from silly Siamese thieves.

Khmers were busying killing each other instead of protecting our properties, you are right! we should allow khmer rouge soldier stay and protected the Temple all along the Dangrek mountain, so, we don't have to deal with these issues now...

    Dear 3:43 pm

Thailand is laughing rite now only because you guys fell for their trap. Cambodia foreign minister stated earlier that Mr. Hun Sen never intended to visit that temple from the start. Even his couples of speech during his visit never even mention Ta Moan Temple. Bangkok release fake news in order to make him look bad.
