Iran and Cambodia agreed on Tuesday to boost bilateral ties in diverse areas.

Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki and his Cambodian counterpart Hor Namhong stressed the need of expansion of ties in the diverse areas of political, economic and diplomatic.

Mottaki said in a joint press conference with Namhong that Iran and Cambodia have initiated a new era of economic and close political cooperation within the international arena.

The two sides discussed several issues such as trade, tourism, investments and holding fairs in each other's countries, cooperation in tariffs, facilitating taxation regulations and participating in joint ventures, said Mottaki.

For his part, Namhong said he discussed regional and international issues with his Iranian counterpart. The situation in Iraq and Afghanistan and the Palestinian issue were discussed and both countries shared the position that war is not the solution to the problems in these countries, he added.

Iran and Cambodia stressed their willingness to bolster bilateral ties in the areas of economy and energy, he said.

The Cambodian minister arrived in Iran on Tuesday for a two-day visit. He is also to meet with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

This is a huge mistake for Cambodia. If you sign up with Iran, You can kiss Preah Vihear support goodbye. The US will back Thailand the minute Iran sets up house in Cambodia. You will be a colony of the Axis of Evil. We all know how well colonization turned out for you.

it's just cross-eyed. cross-eyed people are very smart and intelligent. it can be surgically corrected, though. don't judge the book by its cover; it's the merit that counts; everything else is trivial or insignificant, really! god bless cambodia and iran.

don't poke fun at people's defect; that's so rude and evil. god love all his children on earth. did you know in america, they have a law against making fun of handicapped people; it's called the american with disability act. this law can get you in trouble for making fun of handicapped individuals, etc... that is so unprofessional, to say the least!
