Damarin X's new book: What's Wrong With Us?
Click on the flyer to zoom in
"It's a nonfiction book. It's not an autobiography about me, Khmer Rouge Period, or the war. It's about the situation in Srok Khmer and Khmer's way of life in general.
The book is about 350 pages (both sides) long. It costs $14.95 each" - Damarin X
buying or giving free to people is not the matter but the fact is that the truth of Srok Khmer ? cos I worry wether it is talking about Srok Youn or Yourn pupet! Sic
To 3:33pm It costs him a lot of time to write this book and money to print out the books.....if he was to give you a book to read, it is as if he paid you to read. Be real dumb ass.
you are living on this planet everything is about money!...my friends.it does not matter about 14.95$,as long as about cambodia we must to buy and read,in order to know every detail about our motherland.especially, about our compatriots back home and the corruption government, what`s the hell they have done for the last 31 years for our lovely poor peoples and the kingdom of CAMBODIA!.GOD AND GODBUDHHA BLESS ALL OUR COMPATRIOTS AROUND THE GLOBE AND THE KINGDOM OF KAMBUJA.
From what I know, yes, he has a master degree, and the book is written in English.
To Damarin: I apologize if what I'm saying is wrong. You should just put the price and what's the book is about; that's it. People buy it or not, it's their choice. Or it's like Will Rogers said, "Get someone else to blow your horn and the sound will carry twice as far." Or "How the book will sell, depends on its aothor."
That is right, 4:14PM and to Ah Chkuot 3:33PM. To produce books, in general, it costs the author time and resources to make it happens. Do you have brain to think? You must be a kind of person that just sit and give a hard time to others who works hard to achieve some thing for their country. If you can't do this kind of work, just shut up and do nothing and let others do their works.
How do I contact you in order to purchase a book? If some one knows what his point of contact is, please let me know and send your answer to " familykum65@yahoo.com " Thanks,
I will not buy and read a book written by a person who was born right after the khmer rouge was ejected from power or in their 30 or 40 .Some did have A FAIR education but some still think that khmer rouge did not exist or sihanouk was the greatest of all time. Keep your book to yourself fellow NO.
I undeniably like the pictures on the cover. It's significantly constructive question, "What's wronged with us?"
Forgive me for unashamedly answering one of our long suffocating question, even though I am highly uneducated. One of the root causes is our beloved Mighty boastful leaders ain't patriotically have any desire to share power with anyone!
I don't buy the book because of the phrase SHOW YOUR PATRIOTISM, LOVE AND SUPPORT AND READ THE BOOK. It too insulting for me. If you say Please, I need your support.. I would buy it even I don't want to read the book
To 1:37am and 2:07 am Guys, first of all the author wrote this book talking about Srok Khmer not about a book that would make a lot of money like writing personal story. Second, this book was for people to buy and read it. Third, if he was just in for the money, it's not suppose to take him 20 years publish it. Now, if you are to buy this book and don't read it, please don't buy it. Take your $14.95 and put it into some other means of donation to Srok Khmer like orphanage, battered women, and etc....
This book is about who we are and what we 'd live or die for to exist in order to help others. It will us to think more in a positive than negative ways. I believe this author is trying to make a positive change by reading his book. I know he isn't going to change everyone's mind but we will need improvements.
