I would like to update you on the final decision made by the Court on MP Mu Sochua's case:
On Thursday, 12th August, it was officially and finally declared that Mu Sochua would not go to jail for refusing to pay the court fine. The Phnom Penh Municipal Court authorised the National Assembly to withhold Mu Sochua’s salary to pay an 8.5 million-riel (US$2,023) this month.
