    Sacrava,

I have a good laugh at this cartoon. It is certainly relevant and its relevance will still be for a while.

Nonthing under the sky lasts for ever, especially something the majority hates with so much gut-wrenching feeling.

    Anet Khmer

Who is the nationalist? Only a few khmer oversea are nationalist! How about over 10 millions Khmer in Cambodia who are supporting the CPP, are they not also nationalist!
It is an illogical to say that the Khmer immigrant who run away from their motherland love their country more than those who stay in the motherland all their lives!

    3:32 AM,
    if all of Khmers could,
they will leave the country tomorrow
because no Khmer wants to live under CPP government.
We stay because we have no choice.

It is not going to be easy to see Hun Sen go away from power.

Cambodians are so divided that Hun Sen will be in power for a while.

For how long? Nobody knows, but for sure longer than what a lot of Khmers desire since he has enough support from some Khmers and generous support from our neighbour to the east.

Just look at King Sihanouk, with all the mistakes he made in the past, he still enjoys quite a popularity with Cambodians.

It is going to be very hard for democracy to set foot firmly in Cambodia because most ordinary and elite Cambodians in Cambodia care more about wealth than Cambodia herself and this is not the first time; it has been so for a long time.

this cartoon reminds me of one also by Bunheang, published in Chut Khai's ?1973 "khmauch preay asorkay", a collection of (mostly khmer) ghost stories. it showed "Ah kruok" standing over a pagoda terrorising people. Hey Bunheang well done mate
