for a freedom or seeking a US asylum? one thing in vietnam they are khmer patriotic, once it live in USA they said they are not khmer, but either viet or chinese. just crap story about its strugling.
Know what they knew the ones they did not know,they should learn to know. Yes,some security reasons. There are 50 UNPO members in the world;few of them were free:East Timor and Kosovo. Khmer Kampuchea Krom will be free from Vietnam communist. At the UN meeting,Vietnam govt was speechless in New York.
khmer krom ethnic and indigenous group will always be khmer krom forever; nothing to be ashame about it, really! god bless khmer krom people for keeping and maintaining their strong khmer identity like language, culture, tradition, way of life, etc, etc.
