Thai and Dai Viet were barbarians. Please read China history. They both had no land to live in and their foot in Tonkin(North Vietnam. Thai were thieves in China,they came down to live in Sokhotai as Khmer slaves for 800 years. The Khmer empire used Dai Viet people,Thais,Burmese,and Malays as slave labors to build Angkor Wat and other thousand stone buildings in Khmer empire.
