I think Cambodian people hope for better livelihood that comes peacefully. They do not want bloody struggle. This is internal situation.
External situation is similar.... geopolitical landscape of SEA does not support bloody struggle of any kind. Cambodia is in ASEAN, and this organization does not setup to support any bloody struggle.
China, Vietnam, and other friends of Cambodia support Sihanouk-Sen coalition.
Lok Rainsy, Ou Chal, Sereyrotha are not trained for long term struggle. They are armchair politician and activist.
If we can vote them out, it's the best option, but that option might not be viable, since the ruling party controles the national election committee, they use intimidation, they use electoral fraud, they have 6 millions illigal vietnamese holding Khmer ID cards voting for them etc...
If we can have the United Nations involvement again in charge of voters registration, and make sure those illigal migrants can not take part in our Khmer national election and monitoring of voting process, voting irregularities etc. And I think, electronic voting ( eyes and thumb recognition system) run by the United Nations that can filter out fraud can be a good idea.
Use option 2, the people power movement first and if there is a crack down on the peaceful protest by the Khmer people power movement, there will be international condemnation and intervention and there will also be a reaction from cpp people who are Khmer patriots, so anything can happen...
I believe, there are plenty of quiet Khmer patriots inside cpp too waiting for the opportunity to do their part...
I think # 2 is the best too. If hun sen killed over 1000 people In Cambodia U.N Will take action again HUN SEN . Also hilary clinton and ObAMA WILL TAKE ACTION TOO.
