Protesting Evictees Demand Release of 15 Representatives

Around 200 evictees from two Phnom Penh developments gathered in front of the National Assembly on Monday, demanding that 15 of their representatives be released from jail. The representatives were arrested in protests last week. Thirteen of them were hastily sentenced to lengthy jail terms for attempting to rebuild houses on the Boeung Kak development site, which has seen the forced eviction of thousands of families since 2008. Ah former Khmer Rouge soldier.
    You were a Khmer killer.
When will you stop killing your
own people;you have no brain at
    all.

Ah Duch was in jail. And the rest
in court right now will be jailed.

One day, someone finds who you are,
you'll be killed or jailed too.

The truth is the truth,no one can
    escape from the truth.

Go to hell;ah former Khmer Rouge
    soldier.
