South Korean group to build $2 billion city in Cambodia in spite of land-grabbing, land-eviction, land-confiscation

31-May-07
Group to build US$2b city in Cambodia

The Brunei Times

PHNOM PENH: A group of South Korean companies said yesterday it would spend US$2 billion on building a new city in Cambodia, the biggest single investment in the impoverished country still recovering from decades of war. The residential, commercial, cultural and business complex would be built on 119 hectares on the northern edge of Phnom Penh, the group said in a statement. The group, which includes Busan Mutual Savings Bank and property development company Landmark Worldwide Co, had been wary of Cambodia because of the country's violent recent history, marketing director Lee Yunyoung said. "But actually when we came here we realised that it is really safe," he told reporters at the ground-breaking ceremony. "So we want to start our project before others start."

Excellent news, that means lot and
    lot of jobs, from contruction
    phases to operational phases. It's
    happening as I forecasted; the
growth will be faster and faster,
more and more noticeable as we go.
People who look for better salary
must learn to flow with demands.

I can see a huge victory for the
    CPP in the 2008's election.

    Bye-bye oppositions! Muah
    hahahah... !!!

It is a real opportunity of enlarge Phnom Penh which becomes smaller and smaller for increasing number of population.

If the project can be completed, Phnom Penh will be more livable.

Yes, but only if you are good
enough for it. It will be expensive
as hell; thus, you need to be on
your toes and be knowledgeable and
    well aware of supply/demand
    situation. In other words, I
    forecast that Phnom Penh will
ultimately be more of a bussiness
    and trading city instead of
a dwelling city. It will continued
to change and evolved decades after
    decades. Manufacturing and
residentials will be pushed to the
to the outskirt to make more and
    more rooms for bussiness. Even
    administration will be pushed
    out ultimately... .

Therefore, I am staying out of the
area, hehehe. I hate moving around.

The only businesses that like to do business under AH HUN SEN Vietcong slave are the corrupted businesses such as Korean and the Chinese businesses!

I really want to know how many Cambodian people can afford to live in the so called “2 billion dollars new Cambodian city?" I am willing to bet only a handful of Cambodian corrupted high official who could afford to pay all the fucken money at once to live in the new CAmbodian city build by the South Korean! For majority of Cambodian people, they will have to wait until the pig can fly to buy one of house in the Cambodian new city!

If you really want to live in the new city you better cough up all the money up front to buy one of those houses! Do you have all the money up front?
If dirt poor Cambodian people work for one dollar a day and do you really think that dirt poor Cambodian people can afford it? In Cambodia, even a fucken ugly looking building cost around $150,000 and now just imagine those Korean properties in the new Cambodian city which cost at least $500,000 or more!

I wouldn't be surprised if the new Cambodian city is mainly populated all by foreigners!

Damn fool! After all this is Cambodia that I am talking about! If majority of Cambodian people can't even afford it and why the fuck build in the first place! It is about time that all these mother fuckers need to build something that Cambodian people can afford!

    Prime Minister of Singapore
Lee Kwan Yew had made housing so affordable for all Singaporean and why can AH HUN SEN Vietcong slave too?

Cambodian people can no longer be neglected by all the fucken bullshit such as land grabbing, land eviction and the fucken high cost of housing and living! The fucken jobless and homeless...

I hope all of you Vietcong slave can protect your fucken investment because it ain't going to last by the law of nature!

Well, if Cambodian are the same
as Singaporean, I am sure they
