the world keeps evolving; just because cambodia maybe weak today, doesn't mean that we are still weak tomorrow. like there was a time we lost our precious ancestral land, similarly, there will be time when we can get it back. what goes around comes around. remember in sociology, the cycle of civilization is like a wheel or a circular motion. it is like a wave; there is a low point (a decline) and there is a high point ( the crest), so the human civilization comes and goes in a cycle just like the sacred wheel in buddhism. i believe one day cambodia will get it back; just like there was a time we lost it. if one look at world history or study world history, this kind of loss is common all over the world. so our khmer time will come again as we have already suffered many losses already, so the good time is very much still ahead of us to come. just help and encourage to keep our khmer identity strong and in existence. it will be our turn sooner or later. if they did it to us we can do the same to them; it's just a matter of time, if that's the way they chose to treat us. god bless cambodia and her beautiful khmer people.
I don't see this poem is good for our KK people. It does not help us to be strong anything. The crying and sad poem feeling sorry for ourselves should just end.
Every KK children know that Barang oy die Khmer Krom tov Youn, but how about the poem that help KK to succeed in life?
12 41 is right. We should write a strong courage poem for our KK, make them feel stronger and look for ways to build up our community to get higher education and commit in doing business be rich so we can help more and more our youths.
This poem is nothing just only repeated reminded us to stay sad and wait for fate. Today fate itself cannot help us we have to strive hard too.
Very touching!
