There’s only 10 day left for SRP MP Mu Sochua to show up in court in regards to the lawsuit brought up by Hun Sen against her for defamation. However, up to now, she is still unable to find a lawyer to defend her after Kong Sam Onn, her former lawyer, withdrew and decided to join the CPP. Mrs. Mu Sochua told reporters that, in general, she should have a lawyer defending her, but up to now, she had not heard the Phnom Penh municipal court reply to her request to replace her lawyer. If the situation is such that she cannot find a lawyer to defend her, Mu Sochua said that she will not back down, and she plans to show up in court on 24 July with or without a defense lawyer. She said that no lawyers dare touch her court case because they are afraid to defend her in court, she said that this is an unacceptable situation.

This whole lawsuit shit is just for her and Hun Sen to defend their name and reputation. That is. The monetary fine isn't the point of this whole thing but to defend their names. So basically this lawsuit situation just goes to show you all what kind of priority Mu Sochua has on her agenda. If defending her name is on the top of her priority than her forever claim to help Cambodian, you know what this lady really after, fame, fortunes, and power.

She have not any loyalty and faithful in her heart with her ex-party (FUNCINPIC). I think you agree with me, as human nature, if anyone have committed any betray or unfaithull with team or party, this person is considered as unreliable person, even she/he move to other home or party.. The good and admirable person should be firmly with the origial team or party in any occassion..See !! It could be true She left FUNC to SRP when she didnt have any possition in the party or government. But she left when she had a possition as a minister. It's not a betray.

ReplyDeleteSo why should she worry if she didn't make a statement or statements that are false that impute the person suing her. If she did, well then she guilty under the law. She can try to paint it a political persecution but the reality is that blatant untruths recited or published to third persons is defamation in any country. On the other hand, if what she said about the PM can be proven to be true, she has nothing to worry about. Truth is a perfect defense to defamation.
