"If you act as a pig, you shouldn't be scared of hot water" - Khmer saying
On Wednesday, Rong Chhun, President of the Cambodian Independent Teachers’ Association (CITA), called on Hun Xen, the government leader, to resign because the latter is afraid of criticisms. Rong Chhun indicated that, as a public figure, Hun Xen must accept constructive criticisms from the public. Rong Chhun told a pro-SRP newspaper that: “As a public official or a member of the government, one must accept criticisms from civil society, unions and the people, as well as from local and international reporters. And one must be open-minded, if one is afraid of criticisms from civil society, from newspapers, from international opinion, one should resign, one should resign from being a public figure because for a country that is firmly democratic, public figures must accept criticisms from civil society, from the population as well as from the national and international opinion. One should not crack down on freedom rights and on the freedom to participate in the national edification.”

Mr Rong Chhun is very right. All politician should be fully opened to public scruitinered and must accepte public critics because their decision have affected everyone life. If they are scared of critic, they should resign for good. The recent comment made by hun sen that he could use force to arrest Mu Sochua is an outrage. He should be arrested and put in prison for attempting to use violence against an elected member of parliament. Areak Prey

I dont think he is afraid of criticisms from the public because he is like a junta leader. For example, the guards, police and soldiers were ordered to crack down Khmer protesters in 1998. And the grenade attack on March 30 1997 happened under the current regime. With regard to lawsuits filed, H S wants to show Khmer public that he is "The Untouchable" and always clean and flawless.KhmerOpen

Rong Chhun expressed his owned opinions, but will not help Cambodian society to improve better life, in reality he can become like Hang Chakra or Mu Sochua, Ho Vann.

Cambodian cannot improve their lives for having an animal like Leader who care no one. He like to use thread to his own people for having vietcong behind him. How many investors dare to invest in Cambodia with this kind of leader. It must be wait until his death before they want to come.

This man, Hun Sen, will stay in power as long as he can to serve and protect his Vietnamese Boss and to suppress his own people who criticize him.
And he is proud of doing that, but he would not dare to touch our historical thief like Siem & Yuon.

Cambodia is facing too many problems under this man, one eye incompetent ruler who loves to adopt the jungle law to run his country.

I think this man should resign too if he thinks he is god and no one can critique him when he makes big mistakes. Cambodia is for everyone. I am not proud when words come out from his mouth.

The communists hate criticism and they lie that the country is democracy. What a lie! If some of their opponents keep continuing their criticism, they will use their military action, and how many more innocent Cambodians will murder by this Junta Hun Xen. He was outrage during his recent speech to the law students.Mr. Rong Chhun is very brave. I wish him well.

    ACID ATTACK ON TAT MARINA
Cambodian People's Party Hun Sen Khmer Rouge Regime had committed acid attack.
"On December 5, 1999, Tat Marina, age 16, was severely disfigured in an acid attack in Phnom Penh. The attack was allegedly committed by Khun Sophal, the wife of a senior government official, Svay Sitha, because she was angry her husband had a sexual relationship with Tat Marina. Neither Khun Sophal nor those suspected of being her accomplices in the attack were brought to justice. Intense media publicity compelled the Phnom Penh Municipal Court to issue an arrest warrant for Khun Sophal for attempted murder, but the police claimed that they could not locate her, although journalists reported that she was living at home as usual."

TORTURE AND MURDER ON PRAK SITHA WHILE IN CUSTODY BY MISNISTRY OF INTERIOR OFFICIAL
Cambodian People's Party Hun Sen Khmer Rouge Regime had committed torture and murder.
"On the night of January 16, 2003, a street youth named Prak Sitha was beaten to death at the Ministry of Interior (MOI) headquarters after he was arrested and detained by off-duty MOI officers on suspicion of theft. His body - bearing numerous injuries to the head, torso, arms, and legs - was dumped at a Phnom Penh pagoda the following morning by ministry officers, in violation of police regulations regarding deaths in custody. No criminal charges were filed in connection with this death. In December 2004, the case was cited by the UN secretary-general's special representative for human rights in Cambodia - who stated that Prak Sitha died at the ministry "following beatings by a known police officer" - as an example of a "consistent and continuing pattern of impunity" in Cambodia."

Cambodian People's Party Hun Sen Khmer Rouge Regime had committed murder, again.
"On September 4, 2008, Mean Sokchea, a RCAF major working in Brigade 70, shot dead 21-year-old waitress Put Samphors at a restaurant in Kandal province. Mean Sokchea, in a drunken stupor, fired his gun and apparently mistakenly hit Put Samphors in the stomach. She was taken to a hospital but later died of her wounds. Mean Sokchea was detained by the police overnight but was then released, allegedly after intervention by Hing Bun Heang. Put Samphor's family received US$2,700 from Mean Sokchea, and the police told them that their daughter was shot while authorities were chasing robbers."
