Cambodia is now fallen into a period of Chamkuot Luong again like in the 1920-1930 when everyone is scaring to claim their own credit. Each time, they refer to as from Samdech Decho hun sen. While I lean toward Hun Sen I do agree with you how everyone doesn't need to say Samdech Decho Hun Sen all the time. It gets so robotic. But as I see it though, Hun Sen or whatever past leaders Cambodia had, they are basically the king. Cambodia has the tradition and culture of one absolute ruler. That is like the only way Cambodia can get along. Like the people as a whole has to be under an iron fist control, or else they just couldn't keep themselves from pointing fingers and killing each other.
Here is a short list of our past leaders: Sihanouk, Lon Nol, Pol Pot, Hun Sen. They all have absolute power if you failed to realized that. So maybe I'm just justifying something but maybe that is just how our culture and tradition conditions us to be that way.
