What the hell was the US coming to Cambodia for in the 70s: Hun Xen lashing out at the US

During a political speech, Hun Xen virulently attacked the past US government. Hun Xen even went on to ask: What the hell was the US coming to Cambodia for in the 70s? Hun Xen said that the US did come to die and Cambodia couldn’t even find all the remains of the US soldiers yet so far. Hun Sen also criticized the US foreign policy, saying that the US only thinks about its own interest only. In a speech given during the distribution of diplomas to law students on Wednesday, Hun Sen reminisced about the past US policy, saying: “The US only helped those who are useless, the US helped Lon Nol in Phnom Penh, and the latter was useless… Let me say the truth, those who were helped by the US, they do not live long, and there are many governments that were helped by the US, but they do not last. One should know that, at the end, the US only thinks about the US interest, and it does not care about the interest of its lackeys.” Hun Xen said that: “A number of Cambodian politicians are leaning toward the US, and for these politicians, for whatever reason, they always talk about the US, but they should not forget that the US only waits to be with you.”

Once a Khmer Rouge, always a Khmer Rouge. He is so uneducated, I'm embarrassed that we have a rice farmer turn Khmer Rouge as prime minister. Buddha save Cambodia and all its people.

H S boasts he is a good reader, but he has learned so little history that he cannot see what US has done to the most parts of the world. Uncle Sam has helped free Eastern Europe, South Korea, Taiwan, just name a few. And Khmer motherland today is a bit free, though not fully because of VN's influence coordinated by CPP, due to Sam's sanctions on Hanoi to withdraw from Cambodia in 1989. Without big parts of US's principles of democracy, H S is not partly but complete stooge of Viet Empire today. He keeps turning against US not because it is a pariah state but it is a state which keeps asking him to follow the democratic highway of transparency, good governance, and participation from Khmers. But he does not believe in these components of democracy by creating his ways of democracy. H S is a "Liar to Khmers and Khmer motherland " of 21st century. KhmerOpen

Now, the clown pisses the US; the US Department of Justice must reopen the case of the terror attacks in 1997 in which was perpetrated by the regime's leader.

On behalf of all Khmer people could smell and rejoice once again--yes, his days are numbered.

Keep attacking the US and your day of being toppled will be sooner than you think.

I am glad you (Hun Sen) did that. You are getting too confident.

    Me too.

Let's hope that his stupidity persists.

The US intelligence community is listening very attentively. Please don't stop this son-of-Vietnamese clown.

His master (Vietnamese) instructed him to do what he did, because the Vietnamese government wants to challenge Obama's administration.

This PM has never give up his agressiv behavoir (like the Khmer Rouge in the past period) to other west countries, esp. USA. But you must to know that USA is the state of freedom, the Govt of USA is belong to USA people, no cheating own people. The USA policy today is the race from the past.

We know exactly why PM hate USA! But the question:
If he dislike USA or UK (imperialism) why the PM allow his children to study only in the west countries: a. West point academy, b. UK University , ect.

    Good bless Cambodia

Hun Sen probably did not realize what the U.S. did to general Manual Noriaga of Panama and Sadam Hussain in the 1990's. He was just the frog which thought that the size of the world is the same as the opening of the well. If I was U.S. I will take him down so he do not bark anymore.

Yes, I agreed with Hun Sen that U.S. always think about its interest. How about you Mr. PM, whose interest you think about besides yourself, your family, and your cronies.

i think it's true to some degree because khmer like mr. hun sen can make observation too, you know! for the marco regime of the philipines for example, they were supported by the USA back then, and they were the most corrupted regime on the planet back then. remember emelda marco, the former first lady of the philipines whose family and herself were so corrupted to the point of known as "the lady of a thousand pairs of shoes." that's right, i don't mean to chastise the US, i'm just criticizing the USA policy back then. that's all. in fact we like to have the US inject economy into cambodia now. in fact cambodian people like a lot of things about america, maybe we just don't really like their bias foreign policy, that's all. don't get me wrong, though! cambodia do welcome the USA to do business in cambodia and to help us with our infrastructure building and economy growth, etc... and our khmer students like to study in the USA, too. in a lot of way than not, we like the USA a lot! god bless cambodia.

    ACID ATTACK ON TAT MARINA
Cambodian People's Party Hun Sen Khmer Rouge Regime had committed acid attack.
"On December 5, 1999, Tat Marina, age 16, was severely disfigured in an acid attack in Phnom Penh. The attack was allegedly committed by Khun Sophal, the wife of a senior government official, Svay Sitha, because she was angry her husband had a sexual relationship with Tat Marina. Neither Khun Sophal nor those suspected of being her accomplices in the attack were brought to justice. Intense media publicity compelled the Phnom Penh Municipal Court to issue an arrest warrant for Khun Sophal for attempted murder, but the police claimed that they could not locate her, although journalists reported that she was living at home as usual."

TORTURE AND MURDER ON PRAK SITHA WHILE IN CUSTODY BY MISNISTRY OF INTERIOR OFFICIAL
Cambodian People's Party Hun Sen Khmer Rouge Regime had committed torture and murder.
"On the night of January 16, 2003, a street youth named Prak Sitha was beaten to death at the Ministry of Interior (MOI) headquarters after he was arrested and detained by off-duty MOI officers on suspicion of theft. His body - bearing numerous injuries to the head, torso, arms, and legs - was dumped at a Phnom Penh pagoda the following morning by ministry officers, in violation of police regulations regarding deaths in custody. No criminal charges were filed in connection with this death. In December 2004, the case was cited by the UN secretary-general's special representative for human rights in Cambodia - who stated that Prak Sitha died at the ministry "following beatings by a known police officer" - as an example of a "consistent and continuing pattern of impunity" in Cambodia."

Hun Sen can talk all the shit he wants about the US and Western Europe, but it is ah Hun Sen who sits on the doorsteps of the United States, France, UK, etc. begging for money with his empty rice bowl.

Hun Sen is nothing but a piece of Khmer Rouge peasant that needs to be shot and have his body dumped into the Stung Meanchey landfill as his final burial place.

Let me remind you Cambodian P.M. U.S. never barks. It only takes action and once it take action you are out of luck. You are not as powerful as General Noriega of Panama or Saddam Hussein of Iraq. At the end General Noriega was handcuffed and put in U.S. jail while Saddam Hussein was hanged. You should behave yourself or else face consequences just like the two powerful leaders.

Doesn't the US help him now or what? All the Embassy in Cambodia and President Bush and President Obama's attention toward Cambodia meant nothing to him? and Japan is America best allied in the world. The fact that Japan supports his best friend Vietnam could definitely mean something to him. He is blind. That's for sure. It sounds like he needs a foot in his mouth.
