Some of you have expressed skepticism as to whether the base maps used by the SRP to place the location of border posts #184 thru #187 are even recognized by Cambodia. In order to clarify this issue, we did our independent research and we went back to the 1985 Border Treaty concluded by the People's Republic of Kampuchea (PRK) and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (SRV). It should be recalled that the 1985 Border Treaty was later supplemented by the 2005 Supplemental Border Treaty.
As it turns out, the 1985 Border Treaty clearly lists the map sheets that both the PRK and the SRV agreed upon for border delimitation. Two sets of maps are listed in this treaty, the first set of maps consists of 26 map sheets at a scale of 1/100,000. These are the two pages providing these 26 map sheets and their sources. As can be seen clearly on the second page, map sheet "Trang Bang-Ouest" prepared by the "Service Geographique de l'Indochine" in 1952 is one of the official maps accepted for the area of interest here.

The following are two pages from the 1985 Border Treaty providing a partial list of these 40 map sheets and their sources. As can be seen clearly on the second page, map sheet "Duc-Hue" prepared by the "1st Engineer Topo Group RVNAF (Corps of Engineer)" in 1966 is one of the official maps accepted.
Coincidentally, this is also the same map used by the SRP to pinpoint the location of border posts #184 thru #187:
We hope this clarification would put this issue to rest once and for all. However, if you still contest our finding, we humbly suggest that you bring this issue to PM Hun Xen of Cambodia and PM Nguyen Tan Dung of Vietnam directly for a final resolution.

This is unacceptable. We can now hold hun zen;'s feet to the fire. The man-made canal traversing khmer farmers' lands is an obvious act of encroachment by the viet.

What Xam RainXy has showed his own map and alleged that the border demarcation posts from #184 to #187 were wrongly planted inside Cambodia's land between 300 metres to 500 metres, is just another lie which he and his self name party tries to blind Khmer people. It is the same way that he said he will take this issue to International Court and will come back to Cambodia soon, but so far, there is no International Court and he just shamely hides himself in France and barking likes a mad dog.

You know!! in order to consider any map as correct map, they should be completed all items including date, legend, direction so..on..Supposed you don't know about this, but you should be blamed because you are not specialized in it. For me, pesonally, SRP is simple person, he should not be valued or credited as honorable person...you know the reason why!!? I used to losed my 5000-US$ because of him while he was a Ministry of finance/Economic, I birded him for being Costumer Officer..But finally he lied me and now I become Tuk Tuk driver because of him.
