STATEMENT
I would like to inform all interested persons that I am exposing tomorrow, at a press conference in Phnom Penh, additional evidence based on thorough historical and geographic research and modern technologies that confirms that Cambodia is victim of border encroachment. I defy anybody, especially competent government officials from both Cambodia and Vietnam, to prove the contrary. I am sure all independent experts all over the world, if asked by any interested institution, would confirm that I am right. The truth on this issue will have far reaching political implications. This is why the Hun Sen government is so nervous about this case as reflected by the way they handled today's sham and speedy trial and their threat to prosecute anybody who would publicise the evidence I am exposing.

ReplyDeleteThis would expose further the safe-guarding Cambodia is not from Thailand but also from Vietnam.
Cambodia has to be protected from all borders not from just one border. Any government that could do that would be a highly competent one that would propel Cambodia into the 21st century in a proper manner that one could accept.
This is also analogous to our Khmer proverb, "Get fish in a round net in a stream to keep the fish in it by having no holes in the net." This works that same way with our border protection. To maintain it is to have no breach in any part of the border.
Hope this analogy would intensify the safeguarding the border from all parties, ruling and opposition party working hand-in-hand.

well, i think if sam rainsy concentrated his energy to prove his point with real, concrete evidence, then he has a point that competent officials from both sides should investigate thoroughly. however, perhaps, his method of doing so maybe wrong in the eye of the law. maybe he should present his complains, perhaps, a legitimate complain that concerned some section of khmer people society as well, by appropriately following the protocol or procedure of doing so, but to take action into your own hand, is never right. it shows unruly or incitement of racial tention, etc, etc... really! in this day and age who needs that? there are more to cambodia than you and i, really! think long and hard about that, please! i mean, there are proper way to do business with gov't, you don't just go your own way without regards to the law, justice, etc, really! i think that may be the real problem with sam rainsy. it reminded me of the pad thugs of thailand who seem to cause trouble between the good relationship between cambodia and thailand. they incite trouble on both sides of the borders. do we really want that in this day and age as it is not the dark ages anymore. nowadays, there are proper and appropriate way to deal with any type of situation. let's act and be civilized for a change, really!

Hun Sen fails to appreciate Sam Raingsy action in enabling his government to leverage argument in border demarcation with ngoi Yueh in Hanoi. His failures to proceed in proper 1991 Paris Peace Accord is obvious and needed to be recalled.
People can sue Svay Rieng and government in Supreme Court for the negligence and unduly responsibility for national sovereignty.

If you read the article about the World's Worst Dictator, you will see that Hun Sen ranks as the top. Hun Sen's government failed to use the foreign aid as it was intended. There were many examples given, I will give you one, it took almost ten years to build a short stretch of road, it would of taken a competent government only weeks to build the same stretch of road!

Mr. Sam Raingsy must file an appeal to the United Nations to senscourt to drop all charges, fines and release all the villagers. CPP must give us a proof according to the FRENCH BONNE MAP of 1954 that those 6 wooden sticks and 300 more are legal border markers at the exact line and accurately within the map. If no proof is provide from the CPP it is not illegal to pull all the border markers installed by the Vietnamese.
