On Wednesday, opposition leader Sam Rainsy defended his map documents, indicating that they are correctly showing that Cambodia lost 200 to 500-meter of territories near the border stakes located in Chantrea district, Svay Rieng province.
On the same day, PM Hun Xen warned that the government will sue Sam Rainsy for falsifying public documents or falsifying maps. Hun Xen accused Sam Rainsy of being a traitor.
Sam Rainsy’s defense took place during a video press conference from France linked through the Internet. The press conference was held the SRP party headquarters in Phnom Penh.
Sam Rainsy said: “What the SRP showed in the past few weeks and months, they are all correct. Therefore, we are asking those who blame us: are the documents are not correct, or are the numbers not correct? Show us what is incorrect? Since you consider yourself correct, show us, so we can compare and see the difference. What is considered correct is based on scientific basis. In science, there is only one solution, there’s never more than one solution!”

In this day the word traitor is hard to label any one who has different opinion, except hun sen's bunch that fit right in this definition because of their actions.

Wow, I can believe what Hun Sen has done! Is he Cambodia? Doesn't he knows if the more he convinces Cambodian to believe him the more they will find problem on him.

I am believing one day those Cambodian people will march to remove him regardless of he is using force or not. Because it is clearly that he is serving the interest of foreigner.
What is good for him that he is siding with foreigner. He can't seek or obtain power forever!!
He will be sorry before he's realize it is too late!!

It obviously show that Hun Xen is serving Hanoi interest rather than serving khmer interest.

As an ordinary Khmer and not side with any political party, I totally disagree with the Hun Sen government that accused Mr. Sam Rainsy as a traitor. I could not find any cause that Mr. Sam Rainsy has made to become a traitor. On the other hand, it's the fact that the Hun Sen government did not enforce the immigration law and allowed millions of Vietnamese live freely in Cambodia. Hun Sen and his clans always return a favor to the Communist Viet government, for example, sent monk Tim Sakhorn to the Viet authority. Monk Tim Sakhorn was in Cambodia and he is institutionally Cambodian, if he committed something wrong, he should be prosecuted under Cambodian law. When the Viet government reacted to Mr. Sam Rainsy's uprooted the violated temporary border posts, the Hun Sen government acted promptly against Mr. Sam Rainsy to favor the Viet government. It is the fact that the uprooted posts were planted in the Cambodian farmer’s rice field, which she has been working on for many generations. How come it’s now become the border line? So, whatever Hun Sen and Var Kim Hong claim, especially the Hun Sen government, it is just a twist of the fact. They could not prove that they are a clean government not to serve the Viet government’s interests.
