On Thursday, the National Assembly has ratified the entire anti-corruption draft law with 82 approving votes from the 82 CPP MPs present.

16 SRP MPs boycotted the session by walking out of the National Assembly when it rejected 4 requests to modify major articles in the draft law, in particular regarding the public declaration of wealth by government offices, the composition of the national anti-corruption council and the funding package for this council which should be separated from the Council of Ministers. The anti-corruption law includes 9 sections and 57 articles.

I like the new sign of the Hun Sen's Assembly....

Also it's not the "anti-corruption law"

    It is "protecting corruption law"

Everyone know the law will passed beforehand. With or without the opposition MPs present. Cambodian government never and will not care about about the citizens and or the nation. They all about themself and their corrupted officials. They tailor laws on their side so they can continue to abuse the citizens and the nation legally.

it is urgent for the National Assembly to ratify a law to keep Cambodia in its number 2 position of corruption in Asia or go up to number 1 in next survey. Bravo!!!!!

It would be better to ratify the law in the CPP office, so no need to waster the state resources (i.e electricity). Or they just call their members and pass the law.

Most of us have heard of 'the rape of Nanking' by Japanese forces during World War II...were Japanese forces occupied China and raped Nanking women and burning and looting the city.

In Cambodia, we have the CPP raping and plundering Cambodia's natural resources...ruling Cambodia in tight grid for personal gains...it's a total zoo without real law protecting the people but only currupt officials and cohorts. They are selling Cambodia day by day...and when the day come, Cambodia will be dumped for Vietnam to annex.

This is a true story of a Khmer tragedy...history simply repeats itself, it just won't stop...

Cambodia will survive when the people unite and lock up all the traitors...

I like the new name of National Assembly. I think this National Assembly is nothing more than just a rubber stamp institution.

The polygamy was drafted and adopted in less than a month, just to kick Ranariddh out of his seat. The anti-corruption law took 15 years to draft, but only two days to debate, just to make the govt looks good before the next CG (CDCF) meeting planned for June.

I'm sorry, but this National Assembly is a bullshit. Full of useless people taking nap while debating law. The President of the NA can't even properly read Khmer a few years ago and now he became the top lawmaker.

If this trend continues, I see Cambodia is descending into disaster soon. Not by external forces, but by the actions within CPP.

You guys call it "corruption" - wrong, this is the rule of Marxist and Lennin ideology. Most if not all Cambodian leaders were schooled in France and France being a Marxist country? It don't sound like Mr. Hun Sen was schooled in France, nevertheless, Vietnam is a Marxist country, therefore, he is being dictated by Ho My Son to rule over Cambodia. I bet Sam Rainsy was schooled with communist ideas too.
