A group of volunteers are to travel to Cambodia in the hope of securing livelihoods there.
Organised by the Mines Advisory Group, the expedition will set off in November this year, where they will have to trek for a number of days along the ancient site of Angkor Wat and through the jungle on Kulen Mountain to reach their destination.
They are to attempt to build a house for a family in the Siem Reap province - one of the most heavily landmine-contaminated regions in the South-East Asian country.
Someone who took part in the scheme last year is Hannah Card, who found the experience "fantastic, challenging, thought-provoking and humbling".
She said: "It made you appreciate what you have and realise your potential to give back and share."
Last month, it was revealed that the country was still waiting to receive 300,000 swine flu vaccinations that had been promised by the World Health Organisation.
