Opposition leader Sam Rainsy’s defense lawyer in France indicated on Sunday that, on 20 May 2010, the French appeal court had decided to stay on the decision handed down by the tribunal of first instance in the lawsuit brought up by Hor 5 Hong against Sam Rainsy. Didier Alla, Sam Rainsy’s defense lawyer told this news to The Phnom Penh Post, and that the appeal court issued this decision on 20 May. Didier Alla added: “What was decided by the tribunal of first instance will be preserved.” Sam Rainsy lost his case in the defamation lawsuit brought up by Hor 5 Hong at the tribunal of first instance last year. He was ordered to pay 1 euro in damage compensation to Hor 5 Hong. Hor 5 Hong said that, in his autobiography, Sam Rainsy accused him of leading the Boeng Trabek re-education center where diplomats and officials from the Lon Nol and Sangkum Reastr Niyum (Sihanouk) regimes were jailed and/or killed during the KR regime.

Sam Rainsy should not rely in rumours to make a case. If we apply the same principles, it would be interesting to know how Mr. Sam Rainsy cooperated with the Khmer Rouge representatives in New York during the 1980s.

I was a refugee once, but now I am an American Cambodian. I am no longer a refugee. I am a hundred percent Khmer and very proud of myself. Nothing better than being Khmer that born in an exotic country like Cambodia. No refugees are the traitors. They left the country because every one lives are in danger. You 6pm may you were in the better place than some of us at the war time. Did your family work for the government at that time? Or you just never have a chance escape from Cambodia in the eighty? Nothing is worst than the officials who take bribery and take donation money for their own families. If this is true, I would called them traitors to the poor Cambodian people.
6:00pm - you have no right to tell us not to return to Cambodia. Camboida belongs to all Khmers. Perhaps you are not Khmer that's why you don't understand the constitution of the KingDome of Cambodia.

It is a big blow to Sam Rainsy's creditability. Now, he should learn his lesson. If it is not factual, don't even bother to say in public. Afer all, Sam Rainsy is running a campaign to distinct himself from the crooked CPP people... a lesson must learned.

It's so obviously for convicted criminal Xam Rainxy's habit-talk fast, show stunt and think later. He is always going a step too far. When he lost the Court case in Cambodia, he has pointed his woman finger that the Court is a government's tool, but when he lost the case in France's Court, he has crying out that because of it's hard to find evident as his excuse. He has never admitted his losing. That is a nature of man who has woman's character.
