Hor 5 Hong, the minister of Foreign Affairs of the Hun Xen regime who is accused of involvement with the genocidal KR regime, declared anew in a press conference held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday that he will not show up as a witness to the court as he is summoned.
Hor 5 Hong told reporters that: “I will not respond because I have the legal justification.”
At the beginning of January 2010, Marcel Lemonde, the French investigation co-Judge, issued summonses to 6 senior CPP officials, including Hor 5 Hong, to come and provide clarification to the court regarding their activities under the KR regime.
Hor 5 Hong rejected the summons, claiming that Judge Marcel Lemonde issued an illegal summons as it bears only his signature, whereas legally, it also requires the signature of You Bunleng, the Cambodian co-judge. Hor 5 Hong said that: “According to the law concluded between Cambodia and the UN, there must be signatures from both sides: Cambodia and the foreign party, however, Mr. Lemonde violated the law and he signed [the summons] by himself only.”
The 6 senior CPP officials who were summoned are: Hor 5 Hong, Keat Chhon, Chea Xim, Heng Xamrin, Keat Chhon, Sim Ka and Ouk Bun Chhoeun.
The 6 officials above are not the only ones accused of their involvement in the savage KR regime, in fact, there are many other CPP officials who are also found to be former KR cadres under the KR regime.
The summonses issued by Judge Marcel Lemonde created a stir among the Cambodian community, as well as among the International community, because they are aimed at the CPP leaders from the current government who all have unsavory historical past. However, the KRT demand was met by Hun Xen’s rejection, he even threatened to shut down this hybrid tribunal.

Mr. Hor Namhong won the defamation case against convicted criminal Xam Rainxy is not about the money but it's about his reputation which is defamed by a road runner Xam Rainxy. ReplyDeleteHor Nam Hong was not chief or Warden of the Beung TraBek prison. He was a prisoner that the KR chose to lead other prisoners, but he still a prisoner regardless. It is like in a POW camp where they choose one POW to lead his fellow POW to keep order. That doesn't mean he is a collaborator or chief of the prison.

ReplyDeleteIf you don't know about the process in France, don't try to say like Hor 5 Hong. I think, this is our fault, I means "all khmers". Do you know why ? Because the khmer in France or around the world do not dare to be Sam Rainsy's witness. I know some people in France who was in Boeung Trabek Prison but they are afraid that they can not go to visite or go back to Cambodia. Hope that all of dear readers understand about that. All those khmer are afraid about that but they do not think or care about their future generation (children and grand-children) if Cambodia will be erase from the world map and when all this youngs peoples insult us (their parents).
