SRP MP Mu Sochua, who is under pressure by Hun Xen’s lawyer to pay her fine imposed by the Phnom Penh municipal court, plans to travel to the US and the Philippines on 17 June. According to plan, Mrs. Mu Sochua will travel to the US and the Philippines between 17 June and 01 July. Mrs. Mu Sochua indicated that her travel is not aimed at fleeing the court order for her to pay a 16.5 million riels fine. She said that she will go to the US for the projection of a documentary film on women and children trafficking in New York City, then, she will return back to Cambodia. She indicated also that, up to today, she did not receive any court order asking her to pay the fine yet.

Disgraced Mu Sochua can run but she can't hide herself in paying the fine 16.5 Million Riel. Her trip to Philippines and USA is just a delay tactic. When the Court set up the date for her to pay the fine, then her real colour will come up.
ReplyDeleteDisgraced Mu Sochua likes her boss Xam Rainxy as well as other SRP supporters, they are only brave in front of microphone and media, but when they are facing the jail time, they will put the tail between their legs, bow their head to ground and become a road runner.

It seems Mu Sochua is more abroad than she is in Cambodia. It's all nice and dandy to fight for women's rights internationally, but isn't her job as a member of parliament to work for the people of her district?
ReplyDelete2:17 PM, you are right, laws are only applied on opposition party members and weak Khmers, the real thieves, bandits who are real criminal and members of CPP are on top of laws because they have power and bloody money stolen from Khmers. That way doesn't last.

ReplyDeleteIt's more effective if everyone (including lork sray Mu Sochua) writes directly to Sec. of State Hilary Clinton. It's part of Sec. Clinton job to oversee foreign affairs. She's part of President Obama administration. We should not by pass her. Beside, President Obama has too many problems (domestic and internationl) to worry about Srok Khmer.
In addition, Hun Sen Gov. officials can always say that the petition is fake and full of fake names. They can also use all the name of the petition for evil purpose - like they did during the CFF case.
