PHNOM PENH, Cambodia (AP) - Cambodia's genocide tribunal has formally indicted four former leaders of the Khmer Rouge, paving the way for its second trial to begin next year.
The U.N.-assisted tribunal said Thursday its investigating judges issued the indictment after completing their investigation.
The trial is expected to begin by the middle of next year against Nuon Chea, the group's ideologist; former head of state Khieu Samphan; former Foreign Minister Ieng Sary; and his wife Ieng Thirith, the ex-minister for social affairs.
They each face four charges, including crimes against humanity, genocide, murder and religious persecution.
Their 1970s communist regime is believed responsible for the deaths of 1.7 million people.

Khmer government want kill all leader of KR that why they prolong it to middle of next year to start. Maybe will have a "natural" death, i predict maybe no more than 2 will remain alive. Just like they killed Ta Mok, they will kill these last remaing witness and monsters of the KR regime to hide history from Khmer people.

What about hun xen, chea xim, heng xamrin, hor nam hong, keat chhun, khiev kanharit, tea banh, ke kim yan, pol saroeun, chiam yeap, touch narot, bun rany, sihanouk, sihamony, monic, va kim hong, xok an, xok kong, and many other who are the genocide persons and are living with safety and enjoy on the poverty of the Khmer people.?????????????????????????? Whare is the justice in the world??????????????????????????
