Hun Neang, the 90 year-old father of Prime Minister Hun Sen has received a knighthood from King Sihamoni.
Today, Wednesday 7th September, King Sihamoni has signed a royal bestowing Hun Neang a knighthood with the royal title of "Neak Oknha Moha Peakdei Saporisphokeathipadei" (The most loyal and the most generous lord).
The royal decree says that Mr. Hun Neang has made physical contributions, moral contributions and generous financial contributions to Buddhism, the nation, as well as many achievements such as generously helping the poor and the destitute throughout the country.
The royal decree bestowing the knighthood was delivered to Mr. Hun Neang's hospital bed at Calmette Hospital by Palace Minister Kong Sam Ol.

នៅក្នុងព្រះរាជក្រឹត្យ បានឱ្យដឹងទៀតថា លោកព្រឹទ្ធាចារ្យ មហាឧបាសក ហ៊ុន នាង បានបរិច្ចាគកម្លាំងកាយ ចិត្ដ និងទ្រព្យធន ប្រកបដោយសទ្ធាជ្រះថ្លា ដ៏ជ្រាលជ្រៅបំផុត បូជាចំពោះព្រះពុទ្ធសាសនា និងសង្គមជាតិ និងបានជួយកសាងសមិទ្ធិផលនានា ជួយឧប ត្ថម្ភដល់ជនក្រីក្រ គ្មានទីពឹងទាំងឡាយប្រកប ដោយមហាសប្បុរសធម៌ មនុស្សធម៌ដ៏ឧត្ដុង ឧត្ដមនៅទូទាំងព្រះរាជាណាចក្រកម្ពុជា ។

There is no point in getting mad about this stupidity.
ReplyDeleteThis stupidity has been with Cambodian society for so many generations that it has destroyed the country from one reign to the next.
The title means nothing since the mean by which it is obtained is filled with blood and suffering of the poor at large.
One can ask how Mr. Hun Neang got all the money to donate to whoever or whatever to receive such a rahter useless title which is, in a sense, a mockery of he who gives and he who receives it!
Just look at the length of the title bestowed, one can tell how much ludicrousness and vanity the Cambodian monarchy possesses. It is certainly sickening to the stomach!

ReplyDeleteOne of KI-Media member who has his name in Facebook as Khmer Sovannaphumi but his real name is Pang Sokhoeun, former political asylum and now living in Sweden. He always copies news from here to post in his facebook profile to promote himself, but right now, he tries to remove and blocked anyone who dares to reveal his con activity particular he tries to hide what he has cheated his wife (Sreypov Chea) by having a girlfriend (Sokunthear Sam) behind his wife back. Now, his girlfriend had run way from him after she knew his cheating.
A con man Pang Sokhoeun as well as KI-Media like to insult to the government officers who have affairs, but himself does even worse than other people. What a shame!
When one person had posted in KI-Media and accused that a con man Pang Sokhoeun is a brother of Som Ek (former Chief of Tiger's head sign guerilla, who was arrested and put in prison by Cambodian government) during that time, a cheater Pang Sokhoeun came to deny in his blogs immediately and had pointed the blame to Mr. Sourn Serey Rotha, but this time, he has bury his head in the sand because he cannot deny the truth that he has cheated his wife. I see the difference. King Sihamoni is a wise King. He threw the meat to the wild tiger who killed many lives, then he padded the tiger's head. Instead of the King punishes this dying man's soul, the hell gate is gradually opens for this old man.

"1389-1459 in North a young man who became very wealthy from killing and robbing people. Tortured by remorse he helped many poor people, but to no purpose because he was unable to bear his sinful act any longer, he entered a monastery to be a priest.
He promised himself to tell all his past, but each time never dared to tell all his past crimes, he promised himself again to confess all. Then that night he fell ill and died.
The community lay exposed his body inside the coffin inside the Church to be celebrated.
A few moment before the ceremony started, one of another young Priest was sent to ring the bell, then all of the sudden he saw the deceased priest appeared encompassed by chains that seemed aglow with fire. The young priest was frightened and fell on his knees, terrified, then the damned soul said to this young priest "Don't pray for me, I am in hell for all eternity". Thereupon, he vanished, leaving in the Church a disgusting odor.
His dead body lying in the coffin was removed, deeming it unworthy of ecclesiastical burial.
I want to compare this criminal dead man with Hun Sen's father.
Where did this old man get money from to build the temples and helping monks if those money his son Hun Sen did not steal and rob or kill Khmer people?
The highest Title is not needed, but what he needs is to confess his sins and asks GOD for forgiveness, he may not be sent to hell and be burned in fire for eternity.
