The following shows the loading of Lok Vann Nath's coffin into the truck for the funeral procession from his home to Wat Kambol in Khan Dangkao on Sept. 11, 2011. The video is followed by the installation of the coffin in the crematorium and the cremation ceremony at Wat Kambol.

ReplyDeleteCremation is not a good way to send our beloved relatives. We are erasing our Khmer identity. In srok Khmer there are alot of Chinese/Viet memorial sites now. Why we are burning our people? Imagine in a thousand years time archeaologists do excavation. What will they find? You would know the answer. Having said, I disagree with this tradition. Think again, brother and sister.
