Cambodia will become cemetery or grave yard for Chinese and Vietnamese; we have no spare land for farming if they continue to use big land for their cemetery.
The government must do something about it such as reuse cemetery after 5 years or must ban altogether or cremate instead.
Chinese and Vietnamese can not have big cemetery like this in their country but they exploited weak Cambodia.
Cemetery in the West is very expensive, the cost of cemetery like this is not less than 1/2 million US dollars.
Cambodians are moxed of Khmer, Chinese and Indian. We have choice. We should follow this Chinese way to honor our ancestors, maybe better than burning them like Indian.
With the hill, trees, grass, cement and white painted line, it looks like the cemetary is in the US. At least they have Khmer script. I'd would give to them credit for not forgetting Cambodian heritage. RIP.
If you visit Cambodia, not far away from Phnom Penh you can see thousand of cemetery like this cover approximately 50 hectare. I do not recollect the name of this place; it may be at Kob Srev or Dankor or something else. The majority of cemeteries are covered 100% in Chinese and Vietnamese, only minority of cemetery covered in mixed Khmer and Chinese like this picture, some cemetery are twice larger than the cemetery in this picture. I went there because I hear the rumour about discovery of the treasure but I end up seeing this cemetery.
According to DAP news (Soy Spheap) today 5/4/2012 Oknha Lim Huy Leng donate 10 hectares to Chinese community for cemetery at Khom Siem Srok Prey Nob Sihanouk province.
