Unconfirmed rumors circulated in Phnom Penh indicated that Chea Xim, president of the ruling CPP party, has passed away in the evening of Saturday 04 August 2012, following his return from Singapore for medical care.
He was gone last saturday. It is not rumor, it is true after he came from Singapore for treament. One khmer nation's traitor gone! Time for Hun Sen, Xok An,... and other traitors are coming too.

Don't think of someone's death as your victory or it would be the end of your Cambodian misery. No it won't work that way. The dead cannot harm you but the living will always do.

If it is true, condolenses to the family, but Cambodia has been long overdue for fresh faces and rejuvenation. 20 to 30 years of these same faces, same rhetorics, is enough. It does not necessarily mean that they all have to croak-out first for something to change.

Even if he did not have control on any state affairs lately, it was not due to his own goodwill or democratic principle. He clung onto the fakeness of his title until the end.

The nation cannot just rely on the most despised succession plan of network of in-laws, and marriage connection of these old farts. Someone here always says , it is more than us to Cambodia, relally. So, they need to stop thinking that hey own Cambodia.
