Refusing the Tag of Victimized Victim

Seen and heard on Ms. Theary C. Seng's Facebook accounts:

Today, I was reminded again how people WANT me to be the "classic victim" of the Khmer Rouge who they can relate and be superior to--dress in a certain way, act in a certain way, speak in a certain way--the victimized victim, if you will, even if they would never consciously admit or articulate it in those ways. Because a "victim" should be pitied, not be their equal, and certainly not their social superior in education or any other status indices. Sorry, not going to happen with this "victim". Continue to expect the stilettos and the dark shades!

There is no such thing as a superior victim. All victim are the same, it's just in a different situation.

She likes to have photo op. Nice dress with elegant styles of picture taking gestures(40/60 plus 80 degree angle shot. That's the US trained lawyer and that can explain. Continue to keep up. We have not seen nothing yet...what else out there.
